Scams and Fraud on any website but now here too
As we all know some big websites like craigslist have had fraud for years happening through its members. Well I guess xxxfilmjobs.com is big enough now to start getting some of these losers trying to make a buck scamming someone. I have had complaints of someone trying to send fraudulent checks and then have people deposit them and them return a large % of the money through western union or other sources. If you get a email like this from someone please report it to me ASAP. I hope there is no one stupid enough to fall for this but I must warn everyone to watch out. Contact me through our adult jobs website

Hi, thi agency is from here. Is this company or person a fraud?
I got an email on this site from Trademic Casting Agency, offering work in a Print Shoot in Atlanta. Claimed they would fly me up & put me up in a 5 star hotel. The pay sounded good, I replied w/the info they wanted & sent pix (though they didn’t ask for them). They accepted me & told me that the original dates in this below email changed from the 18th-20th to the 25th-27th. They also told me recently to look out for a check for the total amount of all 3 days work $2850. That seems very suspicious to me. I haven’t gotten the check yet, they sent an email told me to contact them as soon as I did. The work dates are next Wed-Fri. & I get a feeling that tomor. or Tues I will get a fake check & be asked to cash it. They said when I got it they would inform me how to handle it. So even though I don’t know for sure if this is a scam yet, my intuition is telling me it is. I will paste the original msg below for you to review. Tell me if others have reported this particular agency as well & what you think about this. Thanks..BC

theyve definitely been effin with my inbox.. trademic.com
total scam.
Thanks for posting this Donny.
There are symptoms to look for, but the major give aways are:
1) They have a problem writing a complete sentence(i.e. – We are not accepting calls right now,but will surely let them know when we have another calls. The even is a fashion event. Notice”we have another calls”, the even is a fashion event”
2) During your correspondence they may mention an event is in one location, yet they/sponsors are in a way different location. They mention sending a large sum of the the CHECK they sent you, to be sent back or to another location.
3) The check will be from another location intirely different from them and the event. Easy to check -Call that bank and verify it!
You can also check these sites for more hints and examples: Spamcops, Scambusters. There are many to help wayfarers on the web. Most are Nigerian Scammers, stories of being locked up, no money to pay their hotel or jail fine.
Bottom line do a search for your local FBI, then find their scam department, yes they have one(Mail Fraud). In my case, they advised me to send all correspondents to them. When and if the check shows up, also send that to them as well. Then block the spammer.
Hope this helps.
Hey, thank you for mail to me back quick and I just want let you know that I just got the mail with money check from Trademic for ariplane ticket and I dont know if the money check is real or not ? because I just about go to my bank that he send me with money check to put it in my bank ? but I ‘m kind little bit worry about that and so, do you think that Trademic is really FRAUD ???
I was contacted by trademic@worker.com. Kinda thought something was fishy from the beginning cuz they wouldn’t give me a phone number or call me. But to good of a chance to not look into. Then I get a check on saturday after noon from Gulf Coast machine and supply co. and an email telling me to cash it and send it money gram. I got gulfco. phone number but no answer saturday after noon. but this morning they said they don’t know anything about a photo shoot in GA (where I was supposed to fly to this week). I wonder what would have happened if I would have gone through with it? would somebody actually be at the airport to pick me up then sell my body on the black market? Ass hole waisted my time, screwed up my schedule and now I have to ask the secret service if they want to waist any more of my time.
i totally aggree fraud should not happen but it does, we always need to be aware of what we read and seeon the internet
i have received email like this from a member on here named Trademic and i just received the check i have not yet deposited it into my account. The agent told me that i should deposit the check let it clear at my bank and pay for my travel expenses and send the change to another member of this modeling agency so he can purchase the preferred clothing i selected for the shoot. I’m thinking that it is somewhat legitimate because i did select clothing and the agent would not tell me to allow the check to clear before i spend the cash if it was a fraud check.
Trademic is a fraud and the reason for this post. His profile is still visible but suspended so he cant login to get email.
donny long, it IS a scam. they tell you to “wait for it to clear” because most people assume that once an item has been posted to their account by the bank it has in fact cleared. this isnt the case. it can be 2 weeks AFTER the item shows up in your account that you will get a letter from ther bank informing you the check was bogus.
I know and that’s why I warned everyone. A lot of people are stupid I think and dont know this.
that’s kinda ignorant of you to call the people who make your site what it is “STUPID”. Any of your clients who may have fell for this scam are not necessarily “STUPID” but more like unaware. In your original post you only said “fraudulent checks”, you were to stupid to even name TRADEMIC. How hard would it have been to say “trademic is a fraud”? Like I said in my original reply to this post “I thought something was fishy from the begining” didn’t admin dony long find trademic’s email blast fishy? did you look into trademic or worker.com from the begining? It was not untill the day I was supposed to put the check in the bank that your warning came out. But thank you very very much for warning us all. … . .at the last second!!!!
nothing ignorant about stating the facts. If someone fell for this scam they would have to be “STUPID” no one on the site fell for it and sent him money back so I guess no one is “STUPID” enough to do that on my site. As far as the post the first time I posted about fraud he was not confirmed a fraud yet. It was not confirmed till the second post.
Hi Everyone
First thing is thanks to everyone for warning us about the scams and with all information of ways to see if it is a scam or not.
Now my question is, Has anyone got the money in they hands? Has anyone already got the ticket to fry to the location? Who is the person that you need to send a money order name? What is the location of the photo shot?
All these questions?
Has this guy send you his new email address?
Thanks and will be waiting for answers.
hey everyone.
It is a fraud or a scam. Call it what ever but it is a scam.
I just got the money order and to see if it is true, I want to a postal office and ask to see if it is a fraud.
Well it is true. Its fake and that was not the first one.
Please be don’t take it to the bank, you will have to pay it back and with fee too.
tradmic@work.com or cwtv@photo.shot.com
What every his email is is FAKE.
Please reply here or to my email for more information

Thanks and please do your research before acting on any type of job.
i let him send me the fake check then called the actual owner of account check was from
then sent him all the info and check to help in prosecuting this idiotic scammer..oh btw i got him from Huntz Models just like the other 3 who tried that shit…but ive got ways to check emails and IP adresses as well as names or phone numbers unless cell..even then it tells me the carrier
ive got 2 sites i paid for full yr to check out and verify info.. there are cpl free ones too so do
check them out cos cant beat free backup verification … pipl.com or peekyou.com are both
FREE TO USE but i refuse to recommend the one paid site im on after they changed it
so u dont get the specifics like i wanted & expected so dont waste ur time or money with emailfinder.com…spokeo is great tho cos u can do ur entire address book of contacts to
see updates and private hidden profiles …we cant be too careful these days in protecting
our financial as well as physical and mental/emotional health with all the pervs pretending to be producers trying to get free samples or boldly demand casting couch calls to serious cyberstalkers or real ones to the just as bad cash crazy crooks setting up anyone they can
anyway they can all over the world… PROTECT URSELF…verify them..ask for references
get any and all info u cant then check each one twice to be sure..dont let anyone have ur
bank account numbers or cc numbers in emails ever..expect everyone to be fake so u chec
them all out before putting urself at risk for anything..no amount of money is enough to bring
u back from the dead or to replace u or fix ur credit rating later and esp not if that money is NOT REAL….use ur brain
