AGENTS AKA SUITCASE PIMPS FOR “MALE MODELS”

I was in the industry for 4 years and I got in the business through a site like xxxfilmjobs.com and made a profile and contacted companies and directors on my own with out a agent. I got a agent after doing about 20 scenes for 5 different companies in Flroida.

Eli Alternative Modeling promised me the world and ended up not getting me a single job. He saw me working on my own and saw me as a dollar sign but I was not going for that. All the work I was doing I would have got on my own without him. I told him to take me off his site after a week or so. I was working twice a day on my own. After doing 40 scenes for big companies like bang bros, I moved from Miami to Los Angeles and started to get my own work. It took me about 3 weeks for directors to try me out in LA but once I was in, the work poured in like wild fire.

Jim Powers was one of the first people to start using me all the time, Sometimes 2 and 3 times a day. He got me in with many many other directors and companies.

After that I was approached by a couple agents in LA that also promised me the world. They saw me booked and working with there girls all the time and wanted a piece of the pie.

With males you can be on some agents sites as non exclusive and still get your own work but that doesn’t work out in your best interest. Example: when a director needs a male when booking a female through a agent and the agents says why don’t you use Donny Long, he is signed with our agency. You have to pay the agent even if that director had used you before and might have called you directly anyways, this happens a lot.

Agents can also hurt a males rep and work because they like to talk shit to directors about males with other agencies and don’t like guys with big dicks tearing up there girls. My advice is to just stay clear of agents and get your own work word of mouth and try out our porn jobs site.

Females most of the time will have to sign a exclusive contract with a agent and even if they don’t  want to and what they dont know is just there pictures being on a model agents site can hurt them if they don’t sign, here is why. A director that sometimes hires models from that agent but wants to hire you around the agent because they don’t want to pay the pimping fees just wont hire you at all. If they hired you around the agent and you have your pictures up they will get a lot of shit.

Females generally come into the adult industry slow wanted to work there way in. Sometime a girl only wants to do girl on girl or no Interracial or no anal or whatever. One problem with agents they will ALWAYS pressure a girl to do more and more and tell them they will make more money. Agents could give 2 shit about you or your feelings or health. They only care about there cut no matter what they tell you. You are just a rotating piece of meat to them and there angency that makes them money.

Model housing is a big issue because most female models live in the agents model houses and the agents will own your ASS and your LIFE.

Many producers, directors and photographers wont hire you through the agent because they don’t want to pay the pimping fees and just rather not hire you at all because they are some many models out there

You will be forced and pressured into doing “PRIVATES” as they call it with directors and photographers at first. Another words hooking with a director or photographer so he might hire you. Then that’s turns into hooking for anyone that calls and wants you for a “PRIVATE”.
